It is a common misconception that air-conditioning is for cooling only. On this little island of ours as we all know it is a rare occassion when we would need to cool our homes! Air-conditioning can also be used for heating. Take for example the weather of the past two days which was warm and beautiful and then we wake up this morning to a cold wet damp day. Most of us despair of turning back on our heating - however if you spend a good deal of your time in your kitchen as a lot of us do - have a unit installed in your kitchen, turn it on with the touch of a button and in minutes you have a toasty warm kitchen with none of the heating bills you would have with the heating on.
Another example is you have friends over for a Bar-B-Q some warm evening, as the sun goes down, the evening cools and temperatures drop! Move the party into the kitchen or sun room - again the flick of a switch and your room is warm and cosy in minutes meaning your party can continue with all your guests in comfort!
