Air-Conditioning most important requirement for Irish holidaymakers

Published on 6th Sep 2012 at 12:30 by Admin

Irish holidaymakers are more likely to get hot under the collar about heat in their rooms than about getting a good view or fine food according to a poll.

Air-Conditioning was the most important requirement for those researching holiday accommodation, a survey by an on line travel agency found.

However, although we do not have the same heat here in Ireland as our European friends, we at Reliant Engineering have found that more and more Irish are requiring air–conditioning in rooms in their homes - during this summer we have had quite a few requests for air-conditioning units in bedrooms - although Summer 2012 has been listed as the worst in the past 15 years, temperatures have been higher than previous summers. What we have found is customers who do not want to leave bedroom windows open because of noise from the street or problems with house alarms, have installed a small economical air-conditioning unit in their bedrooms.  Our units can be programmed to keep the heat at a certain temperature, meaning therefore that if the bedroom gets too warm at any time during the night, the unit will kick in and again, switch itself off when the room cools to the required temperature.  On the other side, these units will also heat when the cold starts to set in over the next few months.

Please feel free to contact us if you would like to discuss a unit in any room in your home.

Testimonials

"I would have no hesitation in recommending the Toshiba Daiseikai for home heating. Also, although not called for too often in this country, on the odd occasion when we have held parties in our home, and the kitchen heats up too much, we put the Daisekai on cooling which works extremely well."

Ray Pugh

"Since we have had the air-con unit installed, we can either heat the conservatory or cool it at the touch of a button in a matter of minutes. We are finally able to use the room that we never could!"

Claudine Laurence, Santry

"We would be delighted to recommend Alan and the lads from Reliant Engineering for installing air-conditioning. We found them to be polite, timely, courteous, and most importantly extremely clean whilst working."

Larry & Majella Bray, Ashbourne

"Since its installation I’ve seen a huge reduction in my gas bills, no need to have the gas heating on in the morning for the whole house, just set the AC timer to come on an hour before we get up."

Ray Pugh

"While working for us, we found the employees of Reliant very efficient and would have no hesitation in recommending the company for air-conditioning installations."

Claudine Laurence, Santry

"The staff were very efficient and completed the job quickly and smoothly. The air conditioning has been invaluable to us, improving our working conditions so much we only regret not having done it earlier. Overall, we thoroughly recommend Reliant Engineering to anyone considering to install air conditioning."
