It is a very common misconception that air-conditioning is only for cooling. However, you would be surprised how well an air-conditioning unit will heat your home quickly and economically. Below is a photograph of a unit we placed in a large kitchen which had no room for radiators. This unit can be timed to come on and off in the morning so when the family get up, their kitchen is toasty warm.
We at Reliant Engineering were most surprised to read an article in a local newspaper recently that talked about how so many people close their doors on their conservatories at this time of the year until Spring arrives, as glass roofs draw in the cold as opposed to retaining the heat making these rooms icy cold.
The biggest job an air conditioner has to do is to either cool or heat the indoor air. That's not all it does though. Air conditioners monitor and regulate the air temperature via a thermostat. They also have an onboard filter that removes airborne particulates from the circulating air. Air conditioners function as dehumidifiers. Because temperature is a key component of relative humidity, reducing the temperature of a volume of humid air causes it to release a portion of its moisture. That's why there are drains near or attached to air conditioning units, and why air conditioners discharge water when they operate on humid days.
MIAMI - The chief executive of the century-old company from America's heartland shifted nervously on the witness stand as he tried to explain how a trusted senior vice president had been caught on a wiretap buying half a million dollars in smuggled merchandise, much of it from China.
Irish holidaymakers are more likely to get hot under the collar about heat in their rooms than about getting a good view or fine food according to a poll.

The best way to keep an air-conditioning system running at peak peformance is to have it regularly maintained.
It may only be on a warm day in Ireland when office workers or computer rooms are relying more on the cool air from their air-conditioning system for relief from the heat. But what happens when you turn on your air-conditioning system and discover it's broken?
July 17 1902: It was another scorcher in New York city. The week before seven deaths tied to the heat had been reported. The city's public baths were jammed with people desperately trying to cool down.
Contrary to popular belief, air-conditioning is not just about refrigerant filled air-conditioners. The word "conditioning" itself, suggests that, air-conditioners should condition the air to reach comfort level of occupants in a room. The equipment should do any or a combination of the following to reach a comfort level:
We would like to extend our congratulations to Blue Bar Skerries on the completion of its new private dining room - Lobster Room. The room caters to parties of 14 - 18 and is served by your own personal waitress for the night. The Lobster Room caters for corporate parties or any special occassion. And of course the temperature is kept at a level pertaining to the guests by air-conditioning supplied and fit by Reliant Engineering Ltd.
We often don't think about maintaining air-conditioning systems until they stop working - and it's 22 degrees outside. You can plan to avoid this situation with some simple preventative maintenance. It is better to pay less for maintenance on your system than to pay more for repairs.
"I would have no hesitation in recommending the Toshiba Daiseikai for home heating. Also, although not called for too often in this country, on the odd occasion when we have held parties in our home, and the kitchen heats up too much, we put the Daisekai on cooling which works extremely well."

"Since its installation I’ve seen a huge reduction in my gas bills, no need to have the gas heating on in the morning for the whole house, just set the AC timer to come on an hour before we get up."
